Jackie - 40th Wedding Anniversary
Ellerton Hall is a truly special place and a jewel of a find. We wanted a venue for our 40th wedding anniversary which the whole family could enjoy and Ellerton not only matched but exceeded our expectations. The interior designer has accomplished a rare thing – elegance and beauty in a grand house which truly feels like a home. Our youngest was 22 months and our oldest 75 years and all enjoyed their time in equal measure. Every need was catered for in luxurious and spacious surroundings. The garden is dreamy and we spent most of our time outdoors enjoying the facilities and identifying the many birds which visit. Gina the host had set the hall up beautifully for our stay and the welcome pack was very generous. John the owner showed us around and his pride in the hall is evident – and rightly so. We will be recommending Ellerton to all our friends for any special event they may have – in truth we doubt it can be matched. To say we were impressed is an understatement and we wish John and his team the very best for the future. Thank you.

We had an excellent Easter week at Ellerton Hall celebrating a joint 40th/70th birthday. The house is wonderful and our kids (2,5,6, and 8) loved their stay. John was a great host – super responsive and on hand for anything we needed – would highly recommend !

Our 4 generation family get-together was absolutely amazing. From the moment we arrived at this fabulous house, we had all that we needed for every generation, including total luxury for the ‘grownups’. The cinema room was a huge bonus for keeping the kids amused on a very cold weather weekend. We had the unexpected bonus of snow, so snowman built, snow angels made, warm up in the hot tub, and then inside to the warm welcome of the house. John has thought of everything when renovating this stunning place and we are so grateful to have had the opportunity to stay here with our large family

We had the best time at Ellerton, from the moment we arrived until the moment we left it was such an amazing experience. The property is breathtaking. Renovated to such a high standard, you feel so lucky to get to spend a weekend in such grand surroundings, each room has been designed and furnished to a very high standard with no expense spared. The bedrooms are particularly grand with high-end mattresses, toppers and bedding. Having 6 amazing double ensuite bedrooms makes it a lot easier to allocate rooms. I felt so rested after spending time here, from spending hours relaxing in the movie room, to stargazing in the hot tub. Already some of our group are looking to book a return visit. I don’t think you could find anywhere nicer for the budget, we will hopefully have the opportunity to return again.

We booked Ellerton for a 40th celebration and it was just perfect. The house is beautiful and immaculate, and loads to do there, the communication and organising beforehand were great, all the staff were so helpful and John, the owner, was on-hand to help anytime we needed. We also hired the housekeeper for the day to prepare food, serve drinks and keep on top of the cleaning – she was ace and such a good add-on! The whole group really loved this stay and have only great things to say about it. Thanks John and team!
